An evening dedicated to old and contemporary “silent” films and experimental sound. Following the great success of past concerts at ARTos House where musicians and composers are performing live their music composed for silent video and film works, a new approach has been introduced this year. Quantum Computer Music is introduced for the first time in Cyprus in a structural and organized form.

Films from early 1900’s until today will be introduced and the audience will have a unique experience to be exposed to a large spectrum of live contemporary classical and electronic music while the films/videos that have inspired them are simultaneously screened.

Encouraging collaboration and exchange between musicians, artists and cinematographers, the audiovisual alchemy concert invites the Cyprus audience to new audiovisual experiences expressed through live improvisations and interpretations, where experimental image and sound are expected to meet in unusual and unexpected ways.
