The Film Festival on Diversity (FFD) 2026 returns for its 5th edition as a dynamic international cultural initiative promoting diversity, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue through cinema and cultural exchange.

The festival is organized by the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) and is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union (First Half of 2026), the Municipality of Nicosia, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, and the Cyprus Diversity Charter.

Participating partners include the Embassy of Greece, the Embassy of Spain, the Embassy of France, the Embassy of Sweden, the High Commission of India in Cyprus, the Ukrainian Cultural Center “Obiimy Cyprus”, as well as the organizations RESETand MITRA. The Festival is also supported by the Limassol International Book Fair.

The Opening Day of the Festival will take place on 8 May 2026 at 19:30, at ARTos House (Nicosia), featuring the screening of Murderess, directed by Eva Nathena, Greece’s official submission to the Academy Awards (Oscars).

The Festival maintains a warm, accessible, and community-oriented character, encouraging active audience participation through screenings often accompanied by discussions.
